St. Anton am Arlberg has the perfect framework for all events: fashion shows, exhibitions, sports and music events, conventions, conferences, trade fairs. Standing at the zenith of our seminar/convention and event facilities is the ARLBERG-well.com centre.
The multifunctional Congress Centre comprises the Championship Hall that can accommodate seated groups up to 1,950 as well as an additional conference room plus a light-flooded foyer. Besides 17 other conference rooms ranging from 13 - 350m² such as the Vallugasaal, the Arlbergsaal, the Arlberg-Kandahar Haus or the world-cup finish stadium are available all year round.
The flat roof of the ARLBERG-well.com centre is covered with greenery, making it flow seamlessly into the hillside against which it nestles. The building segments for hall and sauna huts, wellness area and restaurants mirror the numerous hay-huts which dot the slope above.
The covered steel and oak vestibule extending the entire length of the building, together with the horizontal facade, act as a translucent filter and portray a materialized affinity to traditional alpine architecture. The facade opens out on the upper floor, making fabulous views possible from the restaurant and the terrace projecting outward. The postcard windows throughout the building ensure visitors ever-changing views of the town and the surrounding mountains.
The ARLBERG-well.com centre and, in particular, the world championship hall (WM Hall), set new benchmarks in the sector of conventions and conferences. It was built in the course of preparations for the FIS Alpine World Championships in 2001. The hall amounts to a triple-sized sports gymnasium; due to its 9-meter high ceilings, it is well suited to indoor sports of all types. On the upper floor, there is also an additional seminar room. The foyer, which is flooded with sunlight, forms the connecting passage between WM Hall and seminar room.

The finish line stadium building acts as a link between valley and mountainside. The landscape itself determined its design. Materials: wood, glass and concrete.
It houses 7 modern seminar rooms on 3 floors, affording fascinating views of the town and the surrounding ski runs. Functional and bright, well suited for smallish meetings and seminars, or as a breakout room.
The building itself is a stage for events, on the one hand, yet can also be utilized by spectators. The permanent bleachers hold 2000 people. The finish line arena (from 2001 Skiing World Championships) provides space for up to 10,000 people. It is particularly well suited for large-scale events such as open-air concerts, due to the gently rising gradient of the terrain.

From town centre, the Museum St. Anton (in the Arlberg Kandahar Haus) can be reached on foot in 7 minutes. It is located west of the Galzig cablecar: the only building in a splendid park, it is a romantic architectural gem in the centre of St. Anton am Arlberg, which houses the Ski and Homeland Museum of our town on the upper floor.
The ground floor of the Arlberg Kandahar Haus is utilised as a restaurant all year round. It can also be rented as an unusual seminar and event space. A beautiful hall with open fireplace is flanked by four unique rooms, each of which is designed on a special theme, with appointments to match.
An ideal setting for a variety of events
Exclusive seminars in a small setting, press conferences, gala dinners, family celebrations or public readings are given the perfect stage. Even private dinner parties for up to 70 people, with buffets in the various rooms, music entertainment in the fireplace salon and guided tours through the museum on the upper floor as a cultural highlight can undoubtedly provide clients and guests with memorable experiences.
House with a history
The house was originally built by Bernhard Trier in 1912 as a romantic getaway in a lovely park. Ownership subsequently changed hands several times and was acquired by the community of St. Anton am Arlberg and the Tourist Association in the 1970s. The age-old traditions of the town of St. Anton made it self-evident that this was the perfect place to organise and accommodate a homeland museum. And so Haus Koutzouglou (the name of the Romanian owner at the time), no. 136, made it possible. The rooms on the upper floor of this splendid fin-de-siecle villa have been architecturally linked with each other in such a way that visitors can pass through all seven exhibition rooms along an optimum walking-tour line, then out onto the balcony which wraps around the fireplace salon, and back to the point of departure.
